Calendars of Memory - Auburn Cartographies of Diversity

Auburn Cartographies of Diversity (ACoD) is a community arts and cultural development program that draws on the cultural assets and creative capital of linguistically and culturally diverse communities to produce contemporary artistic work through three discrete projects: Calendars of Memory, The Art of Literacy and Map as Art. Mobilising the multilingual expressions of local mother tongues, the wisdom of the elders and insights of the young, artists worked with communities to bring to life the stories, symbols, idioms and textures for public installation.
